Hi,

Pics from 29/4. Same movements as Vader, but the C17 managed to sneak past me as was not showing on fr24.

SWR41 LAX-ZRH FL370 HB-JMA - very rare sight in our sky.
Image

UAL1886 HHN-NKT FL340 N194UA - nice sky conditions in the evening light.

Today - clear skies but NO movements :(

Hi all

Just purchased a Skyliner 200P and Revelation 2ED 2x Barlow, and last night was the first time since acquiring it that we have had the perfect combination of A) clear skies, B) contrails and C) some movements :-)

I live at Pleasley, near Mansfield (UK), which is just to the south east of the DISAL waypoint, on the intersection of UY250, UL613 and UM16 airways.

So here are my very first attempts yesterday evening (30 April 2013):

easyJet, EZY893, LGW-GLA, G-EZDV, A319, FL360, UY250 LESTA-MAMUL

Air France, AF76, CDG-LAX, F-GSPF, B772, FL340, UL613 MOGLI-MAMUL

Checked my inbox but couldn't find the message. Please could you try sending the message again through luchtzak PM? Thank you. :)
I spotted the Skyteam KLM 777 yesterday but had heatwaves and distortion in the photo. Also saw the Atlas Air whilst out on a walk.

Some contrail pics i took whilst spotting at AMS. Of course while using a 500mm lens with 1.4x TC, I kept a keen eye on the sky as well as on the ground ;)

Hey James/contrailwatcherUK,

I just wanted to let you know I wanted to use the above pic of the BA-747 on the cover of my thesis on contrail mitigation.
I wanted to let you know and wanted to ask how to refer to it/you?
Made an account to notify you, but couldn't send you an email or pm.
Hope you dont mind me using it.

Cheers,
Wokkel
