Thanks for all your pictures of August 2012.

As I will not be available on 1 September, I am already opening this thread today, for your pictorial sightings of September 2012.

Must have had some luck today, as there were interesting aircraft to see :D . From time to time there were moments of blue sky and few clouds - but no contrails (you can´t have everything).

Normally I zoom in as much as I can but here I really had to zoom out: An124 RA-82039 this afternoon.

I think this plane will never produce contrails and I have to admit it wasn´t that high, BUT in regard of the performance of this plane one might argue it was near service ceiling, so here it is: N28V. Sadly I only have the picture, not the sound of the engines.

Caught this morning, this Tu154 RA-85057 passed overhead, turning right to a western heading. Great surprise.

Hi to you all.
Pictures below taken today with the new kenko 1.4 lens----------------Today was about 20c with a hazy sky and photos taken 14.00--18.00 with the high sun :x :x .
Most OTT aircraft routing west in FRANCE :x :x :x so only a few coming my way.

C/C WELCOME PLEASE.

I am very happy with the kenko lens if you take into account todays high sun/temperature/haze.

No flight details apart from the ATLAS AIR BOEING 767 which was N642GT--GTI2134.

The CARGOLUX was taken a long way off+Had 4 ATLAS AIR FLIGHTS TODAY-All going east(3x B747+1X B767)

Awesome catch of the two luftys overtaking DC10MD11, glad the kenko works well! I also spotted the Transaero 747 going overhead here too but I was in town at the time so I just had to watch it with the naked eye. Still waiting for it to get nice and cold here... bring on winter! :D

Hello, just another couple of A380s. Now as the summer heat seems to leave hopefully the sky will clear up. :?

@DC10MD11: looks like you picked a day when Lufthansa personnel were not striking

Some wonderful shots guys. I never cease to be amazed at these pics that you post. Living in Cambridge means that I miss out on all the high level traffic overflying London and further south. Get to see them on Flightradar24 though. We do get a lot of Air France, Swiss, sometimes US Airways, United, Ryanair, Easyjet, Thomson, Aer Lingus, KLM and Lufthansa MD11s, and a fair amount of biz jet traffic. Have occasionally seen the Egyptair 777 CAI-JFK, but not for a sometime now.

Hi,

2 photos from this week. Conditions improving as Autumn approaches with fresher weather....

12/09/12:
KLM743 AMS-LIM FL320 PH-BQB, in great conditions & lighting, but no contrail!
Image

13/09/12:
LOT15 WAW-EWR FL320 SP-LPB, a rare sight in my area, usually routes over Scotland but due to the jetstream they routed much further south.
