Thanks for all the contributions last month.
A new one has arrived, so again opportunities to share your (pictorial) sightings.

Now that I found some time to take care of the pictures taken over the last few weeks, these are my first results from December. Limitations due to the weather are obvious. ;)

Playing hide and seek in the clouds this is Lufthansa D-AILE A319 on an early December morning. It´s hard to get a piece of clear blue sky the last days, even then most pictures turn out rather poor. This one I include just because it´s moody.

Hi

I am not an expert but I think the one thing that is against you is that there is no contrail in the photo and thus could be taken of an aircraft much closer to the ground.
To start with try reducing the size of the photo to 1024x683 and add some contrast and a bit more unsharp mask.

Hi,

Here's my report from saturday. Weather forcast said sunny all day so I took the scope up to East Ilsley (home to the CPT VOR), where you can see a lot more movements overhead than my home location.

There are always aircraft buzzing around, many of them don´t appear on Flightradar, because they don´t have the ADS-B transponder. So when eg. KLM exchanges Fokker 70s with Embraer E-Jets there´s less traffic visible on Flightradar :( .
Here´s a little collection of those non-appearers, but don´t expect any details like registrations ;) .
Even the exact variant of the aircraft might be wrong, please don´t nail me if I can´t tell an E170 from an E175 :o .

Seems like you´ve got it :D , and they have only one, so this must be UR-DAF. Sometimes I let flightradar replay the day´s movements when I took photos far from home, but this one didn´t show up, so it must have been in stealth mode ;) .
