[quote="contrailwatcherUK"]Hi,

Well I couldnt wait for the internet so I am using my neighbours computer and internet to upload my pics

So here are my pics from saturday with my first results of the new flocking mod. In my opinion, the pics look much darker than before. I was hoping to see more contrast on the planes, but i can only see more contrast on the lighter areas of the plane (where the sun is shining on it) and the underside looks a lot darker than before the mod. Although this is only my first try... things may be different on the next test.

All pics taken from a layby down a lane near the CPT VOR. Weather was clear all day, fog was present in the morning but soon evaporated and the temperature got quite warm to about 17c - lost a lot of pics due to the heat. Then conditions Improved in the afternoon but not many heavies flew over. Unfortunately not many flight details.

Hi to you
:D :D Great pictures :D :D well worth the flocking.

Please can you tell me if you used a Barlow for the above pictures??????????????????????????????????????????????????????/.

All the best
:D :D DC10MD11 :D :D

Great shots these are my favourite 2, I agree light areas look darker, I think ill try 12" Dew cap from astro engineerigng first to prevent stray light, only a tenner see how that goes

Hello,
nice to see so many great shots from DC10MD11 and contrailwatcherUK :D . You really have some nice birds flying overhead !
Today there were moments when the lower clouds disappeared, but there was always haze in the upper level :(
Traffic was rather sparse and nothing exciting, except for the Il-62.

Cheers,
Kopinet

When appeared I thought it might be a MD80 variant and after some thinking that even these birds get rare today, at last I took an uninspired shot. Maybe a Rossija Il-62M.

Hello,
had some interesting aircraft the last days, but the weather was not good for taking photos.
After some research I agree the VC10 might be an Il-62 (boring) :? I´ll change the text accordingly.
Could be Rossija.
The new sightings are verified, so please no complaining :o

Have fun

Hello, breaking the routine of the usual aircraft visiting home, there were some exciting :D :D (and unexpected) :o props in the skies. So this time a collection of aircraft from eastern Europe. Enjoy.

Adding to the Il-62 topic above, this funny tailwheel helps the aircraft to stand firmly on the ground. (For those who see them only in the skies) ;)
