Contrail Spotting February 2011
Hi there
Had excellent conditions here in leeds on Thursday 3rd all flights from Europe routing north on UL613 over Atlantic could see them all from my window at work. I wasn't very busy so got out early as i knew AF006 was going to make an apperance, on my way home (in traffic ) around 2pm there it was HUGE even on contrail. Even people on the street were amazed by it. Just a shame i couldn't get home in time
Got some others from Thursday 3rd will edit and upload soon
All the best

Where did you get the sun from .SUN is very rare in my neck of the woods.
GREAT PHOTOS---LIKE THE BA BEST----------The airbus A330 MIGHT BE AIR CANADA .----Are you not using the barlow by the looks of your ISO/SHUTTER SPEEDS.
All the best to you,
Re: Contrail Spotting February 2011
Nice photos
I think you will find the unknown A330 could be C-GHLM Air Canada A333 in Star Alliance colours, I have this on my SBS from 14:43 - 15:07

All the best to you,
Yesterday mornings sun was a surprise so as i had some time off i thought i'd make the trip before it clouded over, 4 flightpaths (UL613, UL46, UN601, UN603) all sunlit also you're 518m up and in the middle of the country so very stable air.
Yes still using the Barlow, camera in AV mode ISO100 All shot in RAW.
Thanks for the info guys I caught this Star Alliance the other day but into sun so shots were no good so well pleased i got this beauty now
All the best
