Hello
I have been lurking around here for a while and decided to take the plunge as I liked what I was seeing, so I got a few small bits as I already had the telescope and camera .
I have an 8 inch dobsonian skywatcher telescope@ f/5.9 focal length 1200mm.
A Nikon D70s camera.
A T-ring for the camera and a t-ring adapter to connect it all to the telescope.
I seem though to have a problem in that I can't get the camera to focus on anything that is more than about 20 foot away from the telescope.
I have the camera in manual and I have set the ISO to 500.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Regards
Mark

Re: Help needed please.
You need a clear glass focusing screen for your camera, this will help you in achieving sharp focus.

Try moving the primary mirror up a bit by loosening the screws at the back.
