Febr. 6: a snappy overhead BRU on UL608. VP-BAT at FL360 heading for Bournemouth, residence of this beauty.

That's an interesting photo stef. I saw the very same plane a couple of years ago flying much lower since I live near Bournemouth airport. Unfortunately I lost the photo as it is on my broken hard drive
I will hopefully have some photos soon, have booked a few days off work this month and the weather is looking good for the weekend

Hi,

Since it was such a great day yesterday and I had the day off work, I decided to travel 82 miles to the CPT VOR beacon so I could see a lot more activity. I arrived at 2:15pm to an overcast sky.... but by 3 o clock it was completly clear again

For the last 2 weeks here in the southeast of england we have had snow----rain----wind----and lots of cloud and very little sun.
The next week looks like more cloud.

We had 30 mins of sun today so i got the scope out-------------The wind is coming from the northeast so the clouds are rolling in from the northsea,Very little sun in the last 3 weeks .

Had a few hours of sun today so out come the scope------was not the best time for contrails(2.30p.m+)has most of them had gone west so i made up by taking some movements out of LHR and LGW.
Only a few aircraft on contrail---------and sky was clear.
