To bad no preliminary info was available on a departure of AN22 UR-09307 which was parked for a couple of days at LUX. On May 2 around 1435LT, saw & heard it on a westbound course overhead BUB as. Great experience, but as the scope was inside sadly no picture of this non-contrailing beast as ADB351F at 18000 ft

No need to have a scope to post contrails, nice shots btw.
At which location were these made? I've never seen an A340-500 of TG overhead Belgium.

Ok, if the A340 was cruising westbound around 1440LT, this might be A340-200 JY-AIA as RJA261, saw that one also.

IMO, number 3 is an A340-600 of Lufthansa. Hopefully to you this helps!

Nice shots; keep them coming!

I think Skystef is rights with regards to the Royal Jordanian A340.
If you look to the Thai Livery on the A340's it's covering a larger part of the rear fuselage.

@ VG:
your unknown A340 of May 2 might be a A340 of Kuwait Airways, saw 9K-AND westbound as KAC103 around 1740LT.

your Singapore 747 of May 3 is in fact an Evergreen Jumbo, saw N480EV westbound around 1245LT.

Couple of additions of May 1.

UL608 @ 0753LT Emirates Cargo B747-400 N497MC cruising at 29000 ft enroute Nairobi-Amsterdam as UAE9951.
Image

UL608 @ 1610LT Netjets B737-700BBJ N772BC cruising westbound at 34000 ft.

On the 3th I flew the Dubai-Birmingham. We were flying the Emirates B777-200 and passed over BUB heading west. But it looks to me this a B777-300. Maybe the EK001? He was just in front of us.

Skystef, nice pictures and some nice liveries there too. I like the privatair DLH413... seems like a long way to go for a 737

Really nice pictures.
What lense do you use?
I tried to take pictures with a 50-250 zoom and zoom in digitally, but the images are blurry...

Ok thx, all taken with "a lens" of 1200 mm. With 250 mm it must be also possible to get sharp images, although around 5x smaller than mine. Just try and error and don't be afraid in uploading something overhere.

Always interesting to see unknown airlines, with big tele of 1200 mm chances are quite low in not recognising it. However I have the impression the contrail self is getting overhand in your pictures now, hence aircraft become bit smaller. But pure contrails pictures are OK. Btw my scope even doesn't come out when atmosphere is to dry to form contrails, so the sport starts when I see them.

My guess is that it could be thisaircraft, comes regulary to Europe.
