Spotting guide Brussels Airport

Post by sn26567 »

Our website doesn't have a dedicated spotting guide. Therefore, I would like to draw your attention to a brand new up-to-date Brussels Airport Spotting Guide issued by Björn Van Brussel for the worldwide spotterguide.net website.

This spotting guide can be found on http://www.spotterguide.net/index.php/p ... -bru-ebbr/

It lists no less than 21 spotting areas with all the necessary information for each of them: exact location, access (including by public transportation), what can be see, best time for spotting, need for a ladder or not, food and drinks in the neighbourhood, best focal lengths, etc. It also shows some pictures taken from each of the sites.

No doubt that every spotter will find what he looks for in this superb guide.

Enjoy!

Hello

Tomorrow I finally found time again to do spotting at BRU after +/- 2 years! Can somebody inform me about the parking situation near the asielzoekerscentrum. Do you still have to park your car on the opposite side of the main road / football field area?

Thank you!
Brgds,
All my posted timings are local !

Any update about the spotters platform? Do things move already or is it put on hold?

Latest info that I have is that the construction permits have been approved. According to sources at Brussels Airport, few weeks ago, they wanted to start construction really soon and hope to have it finished end 2017 / beginning 2018.

Best regards,
Ivan

Do you need a spotting permit or you have to register or .. ?
At Brussels, no permit needed at all.
