What amazes me, is that the "actual batteries load" is 100% for a long time now (if true). Correct me if I am wrong, but I guess he gets more (solar) energy then he is using. (Dreaming of airplanes in 2050 )

That is absolutely necessary for 24hrs-flights: the cells must produce enough energy during the day, not only to feed the engines, but also to fill the batteries for the night.

The only acceptable shot I took yesterday. Shame on Brussels Airport Facebook group for mentioning a false runway when Solar Impulse group said 20 minutes earlier that the aircraft will land on 02

The Facebook page did not give false information. The runway has changed twice in the last 20 minutes: from 02 to 25R and back to 02.

The Facebook page did not give false information. The runway has changed twice in the last 20 minutes: from 02 to 25R and back to 02.

Luckily, the SI is so slow that some people had all the time to get back from 25R to 02!
