Crowdfunding Photobook Dear Sky by Photographer Arthur Mebius
Publishing a photo-book is a costly matter and I have to rely on crowdfunding in which you will be able to purchase the book on forehand.
Your donation will be used to produce the book, which will bring North Korea and its unique air transport to life in a way you have never seen before.
Donating, presale
Your purchase in total will support this crowdfunding directly.
Thank you.
The why
I am a lifelong aviation enthusiast and photographer. Looking for a new project, I discovered a place where big classic sovjet-airplanes are still flying: North Korea.
Old russians still flying
The fleet of older Antonovs, Ilyushins and Tupolevs are forbidden to fly outside North Korea due to international sanctions and environmental restrictions. Nevertheless these aircraft, pilots and stewardesses are kept ready for operation.
