While playing with FR24, I notice something that surprises me a bit
within 1 hour, you have one 777F, and 5 747F all leaving seoul for anchorage.
any idea what kind of business is happening between those 2 cities ?
Of course these are both in the top5 cargo airports in the world, but it still looks like a lot

(1 UPS, 1 FedEx, 1 PolarAirCargo, 1 Kalita, 4 Asiana and 5 Korean Air Cargo)
They all arrive between 12:45 PM and 2:45 PM

Loooong time ago, Anchorage used to be the (only?) refueling stop for all flights between Europe and Japan, for aircraft and pax as well 
(well-supplied duty-free shop!) .
It was not allowed to fly over the USSR at that time. And planes didn't have sufficient autonomy anyway.
Later on, a refueling stop in Moscow was allowed, making the trip a few hours shorter and a bit cheaper, although the Soviets were charging heavily for that option. (And I guess the duty-free shop at Anchorage is closed now
) .

ICN-LAX is 9.646km.
The range of a 747-400ERF fully loaded is 9200km (according to wikipedia).
So yes, they must refuel if no penalty on the payload is wanted...
