Belgian Royal Flights

Post by JDarby »

Can anybody shed some light on how the Belgian Royal Family fly?
Does H.M. King Albert have a dedicated aircraft for himself?

I think he is mostly flying the Airbus A310 when he leaves the country.

The royal family usually travels with planes of the Belgian defence (A310, ERJ etc..)

Looks like private A310s are favourites of some western defence establishments. Our Canadian Governor General's a/c is a defence department A310 as well.

Thank you all.

Seen on the TV yesterday evening (march 12) Filip and Matilda departing for a pleasant little trip to China. It seemed as if they were checking-in at a Lufthansa desk in the main terminal. Am I right ? And if so, why ?
