Frankfurt is not too far away either!

Moose (C-17's) and Galleys (C-5's) are transiting there many times a day carrying goodness knows what. A couple of weeks ago there were 37 aircraft on the ground at 09.00 with flights continuing to arrive and depart throughout the day.

Taking off in a LH A300-600 from FRA to AGP on 24 Mar, I saw a C5 Galaxy taking off just before me. I thought we would be rocked in the air holes left by that big bird, but everything went smooooooothly
