Re: Airbus A380 news

The Veyron os notoriously known to be unprofitable. If it werent for Emirates, the A380 program would have been unprofitable earlier.

Re: New day record for Brussels Airlines during Easter Holid

Speaking of Ryanair : during the last twelve months, Ryanair has carried 81.700.000 passengers. That is to say a daily average of 224.000 passengers ... That sets the "record" of Brussels Airlines in true perspective, doesn't ? Your child just ran the local 'veldloop' and got 1st place, y...

Where is the forummember who was complaining about a pilot strike? How bizar, the whole country suddenly has the right to strike and all of them do not need to look for an other job? Strange isnt it.

Hey flanker, according to your map, it might have been heading towards Xinjiang ... at least reading this article, where they say a chinese passenger took some flight training in Sweden. I saw and heared him too while running near Hazewinkel. I wondered too why my colleagues were flying that low, but I presume they got 25R for landing and were asked to expedite the descent by ATC. The sound were the speedbrakes probably fully deployed at +300kts, its noisy in the cockpit as well.

Re: The Brussels Airlines press conference of 30 January 201

I think you can compare their plan to that of Aer Lingus. They fly next to Lcc with similar product and destinations (leisure+business) and their longhaul looks not too bad.
Me thinks it's a good example how both airlines can fly next to each other...

Re: BRU summer 2014: latest news, routes, airlines

The first flight of Ryanair has yet to land at Zaventem, and there are already results. It shows once again that more competition is a good thing (for the consumers at any rate) : it provides more choice, more opportunities and it drives the fares down. Ryanair should have come sooner ! SN will not...

Re: Brussels Airlines website

Try to search the flight via Kayak or skyscanner, after you filtered SN in the search results, choose your nest option and fare, you'll be then automatically linked towards the SN website, but to the final booking page ;)
Hope that solves it.

Re: Ryanair in 2014

Off topic, and nothing against Ryanair, but if you look at it from a different perspective, the protest from Ryanair could be seen the same as a strike. As in, Ryanair the unhappy employee and the Morroccan state as the employer trying to save some money

"Some say" : does this mean that you disagree that the money from which your salary is paid comes from what passengers pay? Would be great then if you tell us where you think that money then comes from. Of course I don't disagree, and I mentionned I find it just funny to make the comparis...

Re: Brussels Airlines : pilots strike looming

In all this discussion, I would make one remark. Does LH really look at how SN in total is doing for further support or future acquiring? What way do they know how SN management tries to push their pilots in doing such harsh actions as a strike? I can only imagine they got enough information and a v...
