Agree. Many people from flanders work in liege airport. And if i remember good, TNT has some buildings in limburg. Some people forget that limburgs were before in the Bishopric of Liège (Principauté de Liège) for 700 years. Then we had a gap and now, with europe, we are bulding it again, with the eu...

Sad enough ...
This looks again like a little war between north and south.

I dont think heavier airplane make more noice than those we have already now ... LGG receive already 747 cargo ... so the real question is ... will the A380 cargo make more noice than old engines we have now.

Looks a bit like the castle in quebec city, but i hardly imagine a harbour next to it, and the roof is not suppose to have that color.
And the trees look also like in a quite hot place.

Can we have a clue ? ;)

Guys, i have no doubt that brucargo is very competitive. This is not really the question. It's not a fight between airports to know which one is the best. But as i understood the situation, the aiport of brussels is very badly located very close to the city and therefore is annoying for many people ...

Yeah well ... i dont see the point for a company to invest in brussels when liege airport (again yes :p) is ready for more. So ? Brussels vs Liège = problems vs simplicity ? Both have many highways going everywhere but brussels's are always full, localizations are both perfect (being 1h closer to pa...

Just a few comments : - Liège airport didn't wait the problems in brussels to become a big cargo airport and an alternative to bru. Liège airport had 383.303 tons of cargo in 2004 and became the 9th european airport for cargo (Brussels is the 5th with 603.737 tons of cargo). It's growing every year ...
