Re: Primera Air to launch three U.S. routes from Brussels in 2019

Sure. But they are planning on launching flights to the US, right? So this creates more competition

Re: Primera Air to launch three U.S. routes from Brussels in 2019

Again, what's the likely impact on Air Belgium's planned services to the US? who knows whether they were looking at Boston, but surely this will increase competition, no?

Re: Primera Air to launch three U.S. routes from Brussels in 2019

Hi, Actually, this is literally the first time I've heard of Primera Air (Primera who?). I assume they'll have to go heavy on branding and advertisement. I'm not sure how the market tends to react, and whether passengers tend to get choosy about their airline. Of course, demand is largely driven by ...

Re: Abnormalities in BRU-ANR-CRL-LGG-OST in 2018

I don't really like the title ('abnormality'), but anyway, two things:

1) does anyone know why there was a level A330 in the cargo apron Yesterday ?

2) and what about this white A330 near the hangars?

Re: Air Belgium in 2018

Hi all,

Now that the Hong Kong flights have been going on for a while, how are the flights doing? Load factors, cargo, etc.

Thanks

So are you saying that obviously turning off GPS would stop this?

on using GPS and Google Maps in flight

Hi, As the title says it, I randomly opened Google maps while on a plane. Plane mode was on, but I could see the blue dot plotting the flight on GMaps. Was pretty cool, but how is this possible? Does the phone use some sort of GPS antenna from the plane. To clarify, there was no WiFi on the plane or...

Does anyone know what the load factor for the other flights are these days?

Good for them. They really believe in their product so wish them well.

There were 50 Chinese passengers on the return. But any more? And/or cargo?

Re: Abnormalities in BRU-ANR-CRL-LGG-OST in 2018

The Ethiopian 787 was starting its left bank over Brussels (EU neighborhood) after T/o from 25R, with the gear still down. That's really weird. Anyone knows why?

Re: Air Belgium in 2018

So, with the charity flight and first flight frenzy aside, has anyone considered what will happen if/when AB gets its additional planes, and opens new destinations. Will it really fly from CRL then? I mean, can you even park so many big planes at the same time on the tarmac (assuming of course, they...

Why are these planes landing back in Brussels? Thought they'd be in CRL by now?

Re: Abnormalities in BRU-ANR-CRL-LGG-OST in 2018

Right, thanks. But so you mean it's on a retainer to the Belgian Government, which is why it's stationed in Brussels? And, so, nothing to do with the so called 'Volvo Race' (also advertised in the terminal)
