Re: Aviapartner strike @ Brussels Airport (and Flightcare too)
I for one have been following the situation for a reason that has been discussed here: i would be crazy enough to go and work with one of those two companies if the opportunity presented itself. I would love to be a load controller/red cap and if you know that i am a teacher right nog, you can imagi...

Or maybe the real target is Taipei?? I know some Taiwanees people here in Belgium and they complain about the 20+ hours lasting journey and the double transit from BRU to Taipei. Even from Frankfurt there is no direct flight to Taipei. They for sure wouldn t mind the single stop in BKK. Greets If I...

As i used to work for the competition of China Airlines, i'm not surprised by the news. BUT, these messages have been spread on about a two year basis, and they never came to any further steps... Now, i don't mind welcoming China to our country, as this would give a REAL (Thomas cook to Phuket, PLEA...

As we all know it was (is) not easy for Jet Airways to start up this new route. It is already two years ago that Jet announced to start the service to Brussels and Newark. Due to problems in the US and due to lack of long haul aircrafts they suspended this new service. On 25 October 2005 they order...

I can't wait to see the A330's and 737's in these colors... http://www.baha.be/Webpages/Navigator/News/images/brussels_airlines_OO-SSG.jpg But I still think the 'b' on the tail is TOO BIG to be elegant. It is quite big but what i really like is that you can see both the symbols on the tail and on t...

I am sorry to say this, but what's with all the people crying about an S-tail and the name Sabena. If you ask me: Sabena has a name which reminds me of mismanagement and waisting money all over the place. And that idea is recognized all over the world by airline experts (no matter how good the servi...

i really like those new seats! they look very comfortable, i hope i can try them once. sam Wouldn't be too sure of that. As with most NEW Business class-seats you really slip down the seat while sleeping. Only full 180 degrees gives optimal comfort! BUT of course the width, the service and the pill...

I don't think Etihad will be coming with an 777, that's too big a plane. However, it could be that the route to Toronto will be spread out with direct flights ex AUH to YYZ (using A340) so that the flight to BRU would have much more seats for Belgian pax (now flight coming from YYZ is filled with lo...

We will have to cross harder ; ) As i just heard they are offloading all cargo in LHR to lighten the airplanes total weight! So they want the 777 to go directly to BKK, all depends on the load factor of the plane with passengers. If then the calculation says they can not have enough fuel with a full...

Hey Chris, You be sure that i will do all possible to have some decent pictures taken (my camera is not professional so it might be disappointing to some...) But the big question is WHETHER he will pass by or not! Oh, for next week ? no idea, it all depends on the status of LHR fuel supply. let's ke...

As has been corrected by others :) The 777-300 is too long, no airplane can pass by behind it, when it would be parked at the Brucargo. Only at the old terminal, 303, we might expect it. Now, my colleagues guess there is an 80% procent chance he will be passing via Brussels tonight, i will know this...

 pfffffffffffffffff I don't know why but it flew right by us again yesterday evening, i don't know what will happen the next couple of days but don't count on it. FYI The 777-200ER can't be parked at Brucargo aprons as het is TOO long, normally they would park him at the old satelite 3, parkin...
