US media is reporting that a person who recently got Ebola, flew with Brussels airlines before connecting to an United flight in BRU.
Scary, is this being reported in Belgium and are the co pax on flight being informed?

Re: Brussels Airlines' second US destination
And the DC flight is part of the joint venture with United & Lufthansa, so loss & income are shared, so I don't think it is hurting Brussels Airlines directly so much.

Re: question about flights to San Francisco via Chicago
Connecting in ORD is not easy. You will have to leave the international terminal, go outside and take a small train to the correct UA domestic terminal and go to a security checkpoint which has usually very long lines. 1.55 hours doesnt seem a lot in case something goes wrong. ORD is a huge airport ...

Re: My experience on Brussels Airlines' from Washington IAD
According to this newspaper article, the return flight was indeed 100% full, but what is more interesting given the discussions about the timing of the flight, is that it mentions it carried 85 connecting passengers to Africa. http://www.lalibre.be/economie/actualite/brussels-airlines-joue-gros-aux...

Re: Brussels Airlines' third US destination
perhaps something to consider, both SFO and LAX are also server by LH (from MUC and FRA) and LX + UA does FRA out of SFO so the bigger O&D market has the best chance in needing more seats/flights. i can't see much destinations out of either of them for connecting pax, asia is best served going ...

Re: Brussels Airlines' third US destination
United used to have a "direct" from SFO to BRU for years (with a stopover in IAD) for years... I wouldn't call that a "direct" or even a "one-stop" flight...it was just the flight number that continued on to SFO, but it still operated like two different flights (so for...

Re: Brussels Airlines' third US destination
Well, I guess it needs to be an United hub... so hubs with no service to BRU are LAX, SFO, DEN & IAH...
If I had to guess, I would pick SFO 3 flights a week.... United used to have a "direct" from SFO to BRU for years (with a stopover in IAD) for years...

Regretfully, the A380 is taking Airbus down; airbus would not have started the project if governments were not providing interest free loans for the A380 project. Well, it seems like they used business logic by virtually keeping the same name. Also, I think the new logo has to grow on you. I am also glad they finally cut the cord with Sabena and removed the SN from the name. I know there are many nostalgic people here dreaming of the return of Sabena wh...

Imagine again non-stop flights between LAX - BRU, SFO -BRU and MIA -BRU: I flew once with Citybird B763 to MIA and LAX and those flights were overbooked !!!! Don't know how VG Airlines was doing on the LAX route. I flew VG on LAX-BRU; I was VG's only profitable flight (I did fly further to Armenia)...
