I nearly got the chance to get 2 Fischer-737 here at Châteauroux, who had chosen our field as alternate for Tours - on board 150 pax each, elderly tourists who had visitied Prague... Nevertheless the planes managed to land in the thick fog at Tours so the 6 busses we had ordered had to be cancelled ...

I hope they pay attention when they begin scrapping the wings... In CHR they were doing this but the remaining fuel vapors (as you know quite dangerous) ignited during the scrapping operation with the crusher. Looks silly to call fireman for an aircraft which is written-off anyways... *damn you, don...

Anyone knowing the exact cause? The Cessna seemed also to have collided with an airport vehicle from BIAC, when i watch the pictures Luchtzak posted here. <BR>Possible cause in my opinion: wake turbulence. <BR>We´ll see what investigation concludes... Condolescences to the family of the victims
