Brussels Airport has started construction of the two new airside fire stations. They will replace the current fire stations that have a lower capacity and dating infrastructure.

Night trains and some luggage compartments (not the tiny overhead racks) would help. The former Sabena trains (non-stop between Brussels central and the airport) had a lot of space for baggage. Pity that Belgium's national railways don't realise that passengers to the airport carry a that much lugg...

Steven Decraene (VRT journalist) posted some more information on his Twitter account. According to him, the Brussels Airlines brand will not go away, and the hub and airline will be developed further. Similar to Swiss and Austrian.

In a few days ANPR cameras, those that scan license plates, will be installed and activated around the airport.
