Re: Ryanair at Brussels Airport
I'm just wondering how Ryanair will practically do this if on a Boeing 737-800 half the plane would carry 2 bags of which one needs to be checked. Seems nearly impossible and at least very impractical to have an at the door delivery, so they'll probably go on the luggage belt. Which kinda makes it ...

Re: Ryanair at Brussels Airport
i doubt a rotation at MAD is done in half an hour and i doubt a rotation at BRU will take longer then at MAD ;) Taxi times at BCN also usually are lengthy from T2 around the end of runway 25R, past T1 to the end of runway 25L. And then you often are faced with a queue for departure. I think that th...

Also on my BP.sn26567 wrote:I was surprised to read on my own boarding pass that the flight will be operated by Flybe... .
Furthermore, from the seatmap shown during OLCI, we appear to get a -300 model for the flight.

Re: AvGeek flight to BSL in SN A332: Unique opportunity
The AvGeek flight to Basle is mentioned in the SN press release issued for Tomorrowland (..) Hehe ... :) I had to change my outbound travel and now will arrive on SN 2540 inbound from HAJ around 0800h, replacing my earlier train & hotel arrangements. Using a fictive return date in mid-September...

Re: Brussels Airlines' 3rd US destination will be ...
From the list provided I would vote for BOS, although I do not think it will be sustainable during winter. The other candidates are either covered already, LAX and SFO are too far away, DEN also is a mixed bag (see LH's operations), and a second JFK rotation likely would have a negative effect onto ...

Re: LOT: Historic Boeing 767 to Dreamliners fleet replacemen
As enthusiastically LOT is about this, the overall future of the airline is quite insecure. With so many regional and mid-range aircraft supposed to be sold off by LOT I have my doubts that LOT will be able to fill their B788's at WAW alone - and to make a profit from this operation. OTOH trying to ...

Re: AF and KL tensions may lead to splitting: reports
If the operations that are being carried out under the "KLM"-brand are loosing money chronically, then the usual measures should be taken, like reviewing each route for profitability. If a route is not profitable (by the airline's own standards), then operations should be scaled back or th...
