Re: Full take over Brussels airlines by lufthansa
Brussels Airlines is a LOUSY name. It sounds (very) cheap, small and local. It doesn't appeal to people - at all. Also, the name isn't widely known. People still talk about Sabena when they mean "Brussels Airlines". I have some friends in Spain, France and Scandinavia and no one has ever h...

Re: new BRU website
Looks like many generic sites, at first you don't really know if you're on the official site of the airport or just some generic copycat that have a similar web address. I had the same feeling. It looks like some chineese design (and do they really need a cheap banner to make money ???). Very bad i...

And what about the 20 Boeings 747-8I LH ordered?DeltaWiskey wrote:The youngest 744M of LH are 20 years, and pretty much end of life. By the time LH has phased them out, figure out yourself. SN can invest their money in better ways.

Que voulez-vous, il faut bien masquer son impéritie par de la ratiocination, amusant ce forum ou l'on se gausse plus du dialecte que du contenu ... Demain, je continuerai en Allemand ... Re: BRU in "Airports of the world" mag
If there will be a (faster) surface level link between the terminal and Pier A, nobody is gonna use the tunnel anymore, so what about the shops, etc that are located there? If the tunnel loses its function, it's a big waste of money, no?

Re: BeOnTop Airlines - Liège Airport
BeOnTop is a joke.
Just look at their logo: it looks like it's "designed" by a 11-year old boy with Paint. Not to mention the ridiculous name itself...

Re: Alternative Brussels Airlines c/s
I prefer option 2.
But I still like this one too
I think a smaller 'b' on the tail is more classy.

Oh, a C-130. I didn't see it myself, but I was told it was a "big passenger jet"... I should never trust people who don't know anything about planes

I just heard that a large passenger jet just passed over Aarschot, escorted by 2 F-16's, in the direction of Zaventem.

The replacement of the fleet is maybe a good moment to change the livery aswell. I came across this one, and I think it looks much, much better than the present (boring) one 8-) http://img179.imageshack.us/img179/6945/baa3402.jpg (whole picture: http://img179.imageshack.us/img179/6945/baa3402.jpg)

Re: Sabena or not...
I think, and many people agree with me, that 'Brussels Airlines' sounds like a cheap regional company without any 'class'. The name doesn't appeal to people, it sounds so 'boring'. Also, the name is not very known in the world. Many people still talk about Sabena when they're flying SN, and in some ...
