Re: TUI fly Belgium in 2018

OO-JEB just airborne from ANR, stopping the climb at 3000ft.
On its way to BRU, probably.

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal

I have personally seen, and even done part of, a retrofit of an Airbus at Brussels Airlines. I can tell you that a lot more work goes into it than simply the same old stuff vacuum cleaned.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think the all white A330 is CS-TFZ.

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2018

If the reason for the cancellations really was crew shortage, why not subcharter VLM planes, like they’ve done more than a few times in the past, to perform the flights?
Something tells me they really are concerned...

Re: TUI fly Belgium in 2018

Those flights probably weren’t anywhere near the load TUI would need, even when considering the difference in power etc.
If I don’t forget, I might have a look later tonight at whether or not a 737 could viable take off from ANR with a reasonable load.

Cargo B Airlines

For a little personal project I have running, I'm looking into the long defunct Cargo B airlines. One thing I still would like to have is a high resolution (as high as possible) version of their logo. Since they've been long gone, it seems to be quite difficult, if not impossible, to find online. Be...

Can't seem to find anything about it online, any idea when the SVA 748 will depart?

Thanks for the upload!
It's very nice to see the relaxed atmosphere on the flight deck.

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2018

I can't remember reading/hearing anything about an agreement. I do vaguely remember a single mention of a new set of strike-days, though. I can't remember which dates would have been suggested.

Re: Air Belgium in 2018

Consider this a general remark: If you keep stirring the pot, expect to find yourself on vacation from the kitchen quite quickly. There’s absolutely no use bringing up a post from a different thread in here. Especially one part of a discussion that’s already closed for good reason. If you want to ke...

Re: 2018 Liège Airport (LGG/EBLG) latest news

I’d say TUI’s, and especially TUI Belgium’s, track record has proven they’re perfectly capable of running a rather profitable airline, within their corner of the market. The fact that they’re not launching any new flights from LGG perhaps says more about the demand than it does about their intention...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2018

I'll say it again, the argument has run its course, period. Even with a poor choice of words, we won't start censoring posts just for the fun of it. Within the context, it's very clear that particular statement reflects a personal opinion, and not a fact. If you'd like to delve deeper into that disc...

Re: BRU 06/06/2018

Will HANK15 31676 land on 01 like all planes today or will it go to 25R? And any idea someone about a changed ETA? Why would it not land/have landed on RWY 01? The only reason 01 is in use, is because of the excessive tailwind for the combination 25L/25R. If it was possible/allowed to use 25L/25R, ...

Seems like a photo taken in the aftermath of the attacks at BRU, when a lot of flights were operated from the “regional” airports.

Re: BRU infrastructure: future

While things might not look particularly rosy for BRU, I don’t think they look particularly bad either. In terms of new routes, Hainan Airlines for example has expanded over the last year, and we’ve seen more than a few flights being upgauged. The Emirates flights apparently aren’t doing too bad eit...

DAL43 in the ANT hold at FL60 now, departed from BRU about 15-20 minutes ago.
EDIT: return to BRU, on the ground at 1030z.
