Anyone able to help me identify this Embraer Lineage? I took a picture of it yesterday on the south apron but didn't catch the registration. Cheers

Just a quick observation: the TAROM A310 is no longer operating for the Romanian Government, it's been flying plenty of charters to Turkey or similar this summer. So the Romanian officials will probably be on a scheduled flight...they call it austerity I guess.

The closest GA field from Brussels is Grimbergen (EBGB, 600m grass rwy!), it's a very nice airfield on sunny days. Crossing them CTRs/TMAs (EHEH and EBAW probably) shouldn't be a problem. In case you need a longer runway, you could also land in Antwerp (EBAW), 40kms north or Charleroi (EBCI), 60kms ...

I agree it is rather confusing, even more so in case of low(er) visibility, though still VMC. The red-and-white line is the only sign that this part of the runway is closed.
