Re: Impressions by Guy Daems

Nowadays there are many real life pilots supporting the desktop flight simulators, but 15 years ago, it was a totally different story. Guy Daems was one of the very first to do so. I Think many pilots of my generation who grew up with earlier models of the MS Flightsim (FS3, FS4, and FS5/98) will n...

Slight tailwind? Winds are from 110° @ 8kts... that's tailwind for the 25R indeed, but suitable for the very unusual 07L as you stated.

Indeed the METAR is not correct, regarding the overcast.
I've looked it up on http://weather.noaa.gov/weather/metar.shtml

Anyone want to share another source?

Yups, since noon the landings are on 07L!

Sincargo and a Beauty came in on the 07L as well.

You'll need to copy the effects files to the Effects folder in the main FS9 directory. When you downloaded and extracted the zipfile (for example the Thomas Cook livery ifdg_a320_tcx.zip) into your aircraft folder, you should see the following directories: Aircraft\iFDG A320-214 Thomas Cook Airlines...

Overland Simmersky is a nice model indeed.. but that one is payware. About the iFDG's MD11, if you have no sound you should check the sound.cfg and see if it's pointing to a correct, existing soundfolder. I have no troubles at all with the nosewheel turning to the right. I assume you're using a joys...

@Niels: well that's a very early beta version of EBBR. The project has been on hold for several months now. Thomas has too much work and too less spare time to finish it. We're hoping to get it finished, but it's a lot of work and currently Thomas is transferring skills to someone else. @Outsync: th...

When the "S" has to make way for the "b"

It has been quite some time that I had the occasion to power up FS. For those of you who are wondering... I gues that's the price you pay when raising a family, but it sure is worth every eurocent . Last November, the merged Virgin Express and SN Brussels Airlines unveiled their new logo and brandna...
