luchtzak.be and internet explorer
was there some update on the website or is it my computer. When I go to this website with IE11, it is displayed in a strange way. When I look at the view (opmaak) settings, it shows "printonly-standard". There is no problem with firefox or chrome.

Re: Hazardous effect of laser pens
This kind of behaviour cannot be tollerated. How long before those "hooligans" start blinding drivers on the highway and causing accidents, be it for "the fun of it" or on purpose (thinking of holdups, robberies, ...)

Re: PARKING at BRU
Again, I repeat.. They can make a deal with nmbs, de lijn, mivb. The 'new' Antwerp - Brussels irport train link..they simply raise the prices! Looks they are reorganizing the train arrival hall, as lot's of people do not pay the "diabolo tax" and train company is loosing on expected incomes.

Re: Fast lane pass at Brussels Airport
Correct, but then ample time to load their bags onto the plane. I guess he is referring to the "check bagage" procedure. When passengers using the fast lane spend more time in the duty free shops because they think they can just walk through security, and then suddenly the fast lane is ov...

Re: Fast lane pass at Brussels Airport
So, you're saying flights might be delayed because pax would go too fast through security! That's a good one! Calls for late passengers are mostly for those who spend time in the tax-free supermarket; you often see them running to their gate with 2, 3 or 4 shopping bags. Moreover, you seem to have ...

Re: Fast lane pass at Brussels Airport
I am worried about the on time performance, because of pax showing up very late.
Ground staff, once again, might be the victim, to make sure bags make it on time.
And guess who will be complaining about flights leaving too late ???
Right, same people using fast lane

Re: A first big problem (and delay) for the JAF 787 OO-JDL ?
It's not uncommon that brand new a/c are deffective, especially not even with a rather brand new type.
Give them a few months to clear all child disease, give both maintenance staff and cockpit crew some time to get used their new "toy".
And, of course, evrything mechanical can break down.

Re: VTM Telefacts 24th Sept: "Ryanair's tricks"
I saw it . After MoL said that no answers should be cut, I can understand his point of view. He was not talking nonsense. After all, his company his a very important player in aviation.
At the end it means : play by the (our) rules, and you can fly cheap.

Re: VTM Telefacts 24th Sept: "Ryanair's tricks"
Agree, but if that business model is "rip off clients through rules", the rules are questionnable. If memory serves well, other airlines also used the same "tricks". People Express advertised with one way faires. There was a charge for bags and food. Citybird, same thing (one wa...

Re: VTM Telefacts 24th Sept: "Ryanair's tricks"
As said before, if you follow the rules there is no problem. So, now let's compare this to the law. If you exceed the speed limit and you're caught, you get fined (even at 121km/h on highway) If you cannot present any legal document (id, drivers licence, ...) when asked, you've got probs. But you ar...

Re: BRU 28/07/2013
during the night there was first a -high wind alert-, followed later by a lightning strike alert. This means no ground ops allowed, such as surface transport, headset, pushback, loading/offloading, fuelling, positioning of jetbridges...... No need to tell this results in chaos. Same happened 27jul b...

Re: Swissport industrial action at Brussels Airport
CRL is not represantive, as RYR charges for bags, so the average bag/pax is much much lower than on a USA/Africa-bound flt.
