I still don't get it completely since I always tought that Virgin-Express belongs to Virgin Atlantic? So why isn't the big mother company not investing in their little daughter? Greetz, Erwin The big mother has lost her daughter to SNBA. SN Air is now the owner of Virgin Express. In a few years tim...

Passengerplane accompanied by 5 F16's above Belgium today

A friend just told me he has seen a passengerplane flying very low, with 5 F16's next to it (2 on each side and one behind). It was between Gent and Kortrijk at 16.15h. Any news about this? It has probably something to do with the "defilé" for the National Day, on 21 July. It must have bee...

It's a pitty SNBA won't buy some new and bigger planes....

Personally I know some people who refuse to fly with SNBA because they don't like the small claustrophobic Avro's!

It seems like SNBA will be the "airline with the flying minibusses" for a long time to come..... :(

First we lose Sabena to the Swiss and now BIAC to the Dutch??? 8O

Aren't there any Belgian companies interested in buying BIAC? A "national" airport should remain in "national" hands.

So NO to a second-class feeder-airport of AMS!

I like it , except for one thing, they got rid of their golden Flemish lion: The "V" in VLM is loosing its identity. I thought the this flying lion was their trade-mark. Not anymore since the owner is Dutch... So what? It's homebase is Antwerp and it's still a Flemish airline. It's indeed...

I really like the VLM-Airbus!! (without Belgian flag of course!) What is your problem with the Belgian flag, Lars? If you start making politics on this forum, I will feel obliged to censor your mails. Aircraft from EU countries usually bear the EU flag together with the national flag of their home ...

Everybody knows the Boeing 747 is the most beautiful aircraft on earth Surely not - impressive yes, but the most beautiful - that honour must be reserved for the Lockheed Super Constellation in the civilian world and the F-104 Starfighter where noise and flame live. Will there ever be a Belgian 747 again? + Poll

And as you know, there are for the moment no Belgian 747's anymore... So, what do you think: will there ever be a Belgian 747 again? Someday? Maybe SNBA for the transatlantic fl...
