Its big and drinks a lot of gas, but still not as much as an airplane ;) And can you drive it over the ocean? :P But it has recently been suggested that the greenhouse effect and global warming issues is not really a result of greenhouse gases or something... They found out that CO2 only accounted ...

50 years? If that is so we should be spending all money into researching how to power jet engines without using oil.. Even if there would be enough oil for the next 500 years or more, we still should focus on alternative and environment friendly ways to power aircraft engines. We have to think of t...

Why do you think that? Is there a fixed price to buy the name, or do they just have to come to an agreement?

World Jump Day

Hey, I just found out about world jump day ( http://www.worldjumpday.org ). The goal is to let as much people as possible jump on 20 july in order to change the orbit of the earth. The results would be a more homogeneous climate (good for African countries), it would stop the global warming and it w...

Which OS is the best for completely depends on what you want to do with it. If you're a gamer, gaming industry doesn't really give you a choice, but if you just want to read mails, and browse aviation forums etc on the web it's really ridiculous to pay hundreds of euros for a copy of windows, while ...

Re: North Korean missiles endanger aviation

perhaps some controller should watch TV once in a while or read some newspaper - just because there was the info. I doubt the info was there before the missiles were launched. It doesn't really make sense to know that an hour ago, a missile might have hit a plane. If a plane was hit, the controller...

Maybe you could also try to convince some businessmen to start an airline based in Poznan. I don't know if it's realistic, but if it works, you might have all the destinations you wish. :rotate:

As alternative OS, I prefer Mandriva linux (http://www.mandrivalinux.com). It works fine, is quite easy and it's got everything you need.

Maybe we schould add there is not enough investement in developing alternative fuels.
I totally agree with that! Still, I don't understand why they want taxes on fuel, if they can lower them for Diesel. There are good and less polluting alternatives for diesel and diesel engines.

According to de standaard all members of the eu have to agree, so hopefully at least one country will see that flying is already expensive enough!
