Re: Meals on Jetaifly worth the money?

It's the same kind of breakfast as on European Brussels Airlines B.Flex. I think you only get a hot meal if you book Vip/service plus and in economy on the PM flight if I'm not mistaken :?: . It's a typical small BF (pastry, bread, jam, yoghurt,...) In my opinion it's worth the money because coffee ...

Re: Integration of Jet4you into Jetairfly

A lot of things aren't clear to me
Does it mean that the aircraft will become Jetairfly and painted blue and the crew becomes Jetairfly crew?
That would mean JAF fleet would grow...
Or will it remain a (sort of) subsiduary (e.g. Jetairfly Morocco like e.g TC Belgium?)

Re: New long-haul revolutionary configuration at B.Airlines

In 2011 a recordloss of € 70-80 million and now an investment of € 30 million...(that's 1200 million old BEF! for new seats and IFE). Hope it's the right 'gamble'.
Nevertheless the seats and IFE look nice ;-)

Re: jaf 524 Punta Cana via Santa Maria

I come back with my question ;) what happens for the passengers who booked comfort class? If there is no comfort class, can passengers make a claim? Sergioboeing Comfortclass is at a fixed price with Jetairfly. So probably at least the amount the passengers paid to book this class will be refunded ...

Or consider booking Comfort, for a small fee you will get beter service then most scheduled airlines and other extra's. But that's just my opinion and you get to choose your seat....

Re: Thai to serve BRU as from next fall!

Don't worries the flights of Jetairfly to Phuket and Bankok will do fine because pax can now fly "direct" instead of via via. On the other hand the business pax and regular travellers will also find their way with TG. So every happy with this solution. JAF is not a full charter company an...

Re: Jetairfly expands its long haul network

Plan is not to fly B787 and B767 mixed for a long time .... Would be nice, but...as stated above...never ( ) heard they initially planned more then 1 787 for JAF in 2006 when the TUI group placed their 787 order. Nobody anticipated such a rapid growth of the airline maybe at that time. After ...

I don't think they consider Dakar as SN already covers it, but JAF flies to Kenya and Tanzania since last year.

New Boeings for Jetairfly-fleet 2011

Today a brand new Boeing 737-800 was flown in to BRU from the Boeing factory (OO-JAD). Next month another new B738 is added to their fleet. Both are with the new Boeing Sky Interior like OO-JAX which they received at the end of last year. Makes them the airline with the youngest fleet and therefore ...

Re: Jetairfly: new fleet & routes 2010

At the end of 2010 another brand new 738 is expected with probably the new Boeing Sky Interior as the TUI-group is one of the launch costumers. Would be nice :P Hope to fly on it, would love to see it in real life. There's a presentation on youtube of the new interior: http://www.youtube.com/watch?...

Costa Rica sounds good for me for next holiday trip 2010 !! But what is JAF going to do in Liberia????? CX-B Liberia is actually a destination in Costa Rica  In all honesty, when I read it on their website they had me too for a moment... :? Don't know if it's a direct flight or combined with a...

Re: New Boeings for Jetairfly-fleet 2009

No new long haul destinations in 09. Even Thomas Cook airlines reduced their number of long haul flights and is using Jetairfly on one certain route. Yes, they are competitors but are working together from time to time. Costa Rica - Liberia as a new long haul destination from October 30 th 2009 :) ...

Re: New Boeings for Jetairfly-fleet 2009

Could it be worse? Probably yes, but actually Thomsonfly offers you 33 Inch on long haul (I admit, in a 2+4+2 seating arrangement. And 283 setas in a 763 is 20 setas less then JAF's 303 in a 763. Stij JAF has 264 seats in 763 But I get your point, anyway (on topic) always looking forward to new bel...

Re: New Boeings for Jetairfly-fleet 2009

To Stij & Cathay: I did fly with OO-TUC and I understand your point of view perfectly, really, espacially if you're tall. Maybe my remark was a bit sarcastic ;) Sure I would like more space too, but then I probably need to book a scheduled, more expensive flight which is not a direct from BRU or...

Re: New Boeings for Jetairfly-fleet 2009

AC will be JA767A or JA767B, fitted with 12 comfort class and 297 economy seats. 12 comfort and 297 economy in a 767-300? IMHO that's only possible if you squeeze 2 + 4 + 2 seats in one row at 30 inch seatpitch!!! Good luck!!! Stij I'm pretty sure JAF will change the seatings to more comfort seats ...
