Is it fair?
What are the bilaterals governing flights between Belgium and the D.R. Congo? The bilateral between Belgium and DR Congo is very simple: basically it allows what we see now! Each country may designate ONE home carrier to operate scheduled pax and cargo services. The Belgian designated airline (thus...

Finally daily flights to Kinshasa anyone
Well, one thing is sure it is that HBA's elephants can't keep flying forever. So if they want to remain present on the market at all, a codeshare agreement seems to be the only solution for them. On the other end, the perspective of having daily flights between BRU and FIH (did it ever happen?) soun...

If they get 777's, you can kiss BRU goodbye!
Come one guys, be realistic. If Biman gets brand new 777s they'll be getting ERs or LRs and with that range they will surely cut off the Brussels stopover. The main reason they stop here is because other stations on the route are more busy/expensive. Can anybody tell me how much O&D traffic they...

It could make sense if we new the SN AirHolding stategy
We all know that the objective of getting SN Brussels Airlines and Virgin Express closer to each other is to reduce overlap and competition. SN Brussels Airlines is a full service product aimed at business and upper leisure travellers while Virgin Express is destined at everybody else. Transferring ...

SN Brussels Airlines has a careful approach
We all regret that SN Brussels Airlines has a rather conservative approach to business. But, far from defending the current policy, I wish to remind us all the mission of that little airline serving our home airport. SN Brussels Airlines is here to keep Brussels connected with the rest of Europe. Co...
