at Brussels airlines is that all their experience is leaving ( not only pilots also technicians) and in aviation that is a ticking time bomb. Oh boy, oh boy, and I'm flying brussels airlines next week. :shock: I hope their planes won't be falling apart and flown by junior pilots without experience ...

FANFLYER: Oh no, not at all for sure...but it just seems so weird for me, even knowing the slot times are agreed by several airlines among each other indeed...but if the plane always comes to late, that slot time is never correct and I guess they will have to pay more for that? Maybe than it's easi...

Pieter, It's a nice and interesting topic you have started. Concerning your idea, and as many other said, it won't be a feasible solution unfortunately. As none of the BAe 146 are repainted so far, which are clearly the oldest ones of the Avro/BAe fleet, might that be a sign they will be retired soon (this means before repainting 8) ) Or is it just a coincidence and I am interpreting too much into it ... :lol: Aren't the BAe's going to Africa if SN...

Be real people! The choice of aircraft is an excercice that is specific for every different airline depending on numerous factors (loadfactor, strategy, delivery slots, break-even points,...) If you state that aircraft 'A' would be a better choice than aircraft 'B', then please motivate your answer...
