Emirates will fly to Brussels on Friday 15th April for the first time in over three weeks since the March 22 terror attacks in the Belgian capital.

Brussels Airport reopened this week having closed after two bombings at the airport and one at a city metro station that killed over 30 people and injured more 300 last month.

Emirates said in a statement on Tuesday it will resume flights to Brussels from Dubai on Friday April 15.

The first flight, EK183, will depart Dubai at 2:30pm UAE time on Friday and land in the Belgian capital at 7:25pm local time.

The return flight departs Brussels at 10:30pm and arrives in Dubai the following day at 7:05am.

The flight schedule has changed with the Dubai to Brussels flight departed in the morning prior to the attacks. Emirates told Gulf News the airline will operate the new schedule “until further notice.”

Brussels Airport partially reopened on Sunday amid tight security and with damage to the departures hall caused by the bombings undergoing repairs.

On the day of the attacks an Emirates flight to Brussels diverted to Dusseldorf in Germany.
