An Airbus A321 from Condor (D-AIAF, msn 6459) has been damaged during a towing operation associated with maintenance work at Berlin Schönefeld Airport. At approx. 0:30 am on Tuesday night, the aircraft collided with a lighting tower which then fell onto the fuselage. Only one technician was in the cockpit at the time. The technician was brought to hospital with minor injuries and discharged again on Wednesday morning. The driver of the tow truck did not sustain any injuries. This incident does not have any impact on flight operations at Schönefeld.
