The first direct flights from Jonkoping to Frankfurt with bmi regional (www.flybmi.se) start today. The new service, operated twice daily flights six days each week with codeshare partner Lufthansa Airlines, a member of Star Alliance, means that the people of Jonkoping can now fly direct to Frankfurt and connect seamlessly to Lufthansa’s worldwide network of 235 global destinations.
The services from Jonkoping Airport to Frankfurt, depart Monday to Friday at 07:35 and Sunday to Friday 16:05 with arrival in Frankfurt at 09:20 and 18:00 respectively, opens up new destinations for corporate and leisure travellers based in and around Jonkoping, as well as offering huge benefits to inbound tourism. Flights from Frankfurt depart at 09:30 and 18:30, arriving at 11:35 and 19:15 respectively: the aircraft continues on to Karlstad.
