Aviation company SHS Aviation, the successor of VLM Airlines, is still waiting for its Air Operator Certificate (AOC) three months after it filed its application.
SHS Aviation expected to have its 6 Fokker 50 aircraft in the air by April – the start of summer season 2016 -, but it has to wait for a “ready for take-off” by the FPS Mobility (FOD Mobiliteit – SPF Mobilité et Transport). Such a delay in delivering the AOC seems to indicate some problems with the quality of the dossier.
