A passenger on Turkish Airlines flight TK161 between Port Louis, Mauritius and Istanbul sadly passed away last night
Henri, one of the passengers sent his reaction to luchtzak.be. “At about 21:00, a passenger on our flight passed away, we were overflying Ethiopia at that time. The cabin crew and one or two doctors tried to reanimate him for one hour, yet without success.”
The Airbus A330 was only 300 to 400 km from Addis Ababa, Henri wonders why it wasn’t possible to divert to that airport.
Henri is still upset by the indifference on board: “A man dies, yet some passengers barely look up and continue to watch their movie on the inflight entertainment system … ”
