Yesterday evening Hans Vanhaelemeesch (54), spokesman and chief communication officer at TUI Benelux & France passed away after a fatal bike accident in Vladslo (Diksmuide).
Hans, known as a passionate aviation and travel enthusiast was awarded the Aviation Press Club APC-award Man of the Year back in 2014.

I also personally had the best possible relation with Hans. Always ready to help, always available for a discussion, he was a real aviation lover and TUI (Jetair) was a big part of his life. We shall miss him dearly. May he rest in peace!
