TUI fly Belgium today announced the launch of two new destinations from Charleroi Airport. From October the Belgian holiday airline will fly to Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt and Murcia, Spain. Launched this summer, the new routes to Tunis (Tunisia), Ouarzazate, Essaouira (Morocco) and Hurghada (Egypt) will also be available with TUI fly this winter.
In the south of the Sinai desert, the seaside resort of Sharm El Sheikh will now be available for passengers from Brussels South Charleroi Airport, with one flight a week (Saturdays) from 28 October 2017, promising plenty of sunshine and warmth. With its calm, crystal-clear waters, Sharm El Sheikh is the perfect destination for scuba diving.
Another door in Spain will also be opening up this winter, from 27 October 2017 from Brussels South Charleroi Airport. Murcia makes a comeback to TUI fly’s destinations available from Charleroi. With two flights a week (Mondays and Fridays), the airline plans to respond to popular demand, as Belgians love the wonderful mild winters in Murcia.
On behalf of TUI fly, Florence BRUYERE, its spokesperson, explains:
“With these two new routes, TUI fly is keen to respond to the need for winter sunshine and warmth expressed by Belgian travellers. The successful partnership with Charleroi airport since 2008 shows how customers love taking off from an airport that’s not far from where they live. At Charleroi, we offer the destinations that Belgians love the most. Spain and Egypt are two of them.”
Jean-Jacques CLOQUET, the CEO of Brussels South Charleroi Airport, agrees:
“We are delighted that TUI fly continues to grow at Charleroi and would like to thank them for that. With these new destinations, our passengers will be able to get away from the Belgian winter and jet off to milder destinations. This fantastic news consolidates the existing partnership, and we are delighted with the success enjoyed by the new routes launched this summer by TUI fly, which will be added to this winter.”
Tickets for flights to Sharm El Sheikh (from €99.99) and Murcia (from €39.99) are available on the airline’s website http://www.tuifly.be and from travel agents.
