Ryanair today (14 Oct) launched its Summer 2016 Malta schedule with 9 new routes to Baden, Berlin, Budapest, Cologne, Dusseldorf, Gdansk, Manchester, Poznan & Rome, which will deliver over 1.5m customers p.a. ( + 400,000) and support 1,155* “on-site” jobs at Malta Airport as Ryanair grows by over 35%.
Ryanair’s Summer 2016 Malta schedule will deliver:
- 3 based aircraft (1 additional aircraft and $100m investment)
- 9 new routes: Baden (2 weekly), Berlin (2 weekly), Budapest (2 weekly), Cologne (2 weekly), Dusseldorf (2 weekly), Gdansk (2 weekly), Manchester (3 weekly), Poznan (2 weekly), & Rome (1 daily)
- 36 routes in total
- More flights to Birmingham (3 weekly), Edinburgh (5 weekly) & London (1 daily)
- Over 1.5m customers p.a. (400,000 new customers)
- 1,155* “on-site” jobs p.a.
Maltese consumers and visitors can choose from Ryanair’s 36 low fare Malta routes in S16 and can look forward to further improvements, as Ryanair continues its “Always Getting Better” programme, which includes new bases, a new personalised website, new app, new cabin interiors, new crew uniforms and improved inflight menus.
