Ryanair today (8 Dec) announced that it will carry over 5m customers between 18 December and 7 January across its European network, as it adds 1 million additional seats for people flying home for the holiday season, on the lowest fares.
Ryanair customers can choose from 200 destinations across Europe, with Ryanair operating flights up to 16.00hrs (GMT) on Christmas Eve, and resuming at 07.50hrs (GMT) on St. Stephen’s Day.
A recent winter travel survey of over 1,500 customers revealed that;
- 60% of customers had never been on a winter getaway
- 50% of customers had not been abroad for the last 6 months
- Tenerife is the most popular destination this winter, followed by Milan, Rome, Barcelona, London and Berlin
