Ryanair launches record (+7%) Brussels Summer 2017 schedule

8 NEW Summer 2017 ROUTES & 9 Million CUSTOMERS

GLASGOW, HAMBURG, MADRID, MALTA, MILAN, SOFIA, TIMISOARA & TOULOUSE

Ryanair today (27 Sept) launched its Brussels summer 2017 schedules, with 8 new S17 routes and more frequency on 6 other routes, which will deliver 9m customers p.a. and support 6,800* jobs at Brussels Charleroi and Zaventem airports, as Ryanair grows its Brussels traffic by 7% in 2017.

Ryanair’s Brussels S17 schedule will also see more frequencies to destinations such as Bordeaux, Budapest and Bucharest, lower fares (as Ryanair passes on lower fuel costs), and an even better customer experience, as it rolls out year 3 of its “Always Getting Better” customer experience programme, and will deliver:

Brussels Charleroi:

  • 4 new S17 routes to Glasgow (2 wkly), Sofia (4 wkly), Toulouse (daily) & Timisoara (3 wkly)
  • More flights to Bordeaux (5 wkly), Bucharest (9 wkly) Budapest (9 wkly), Faro (8 wkly) & Venice (10 wkly)
  • 79 routes
  • 8m customers p.a.
  • 4,400* “on-site” jobs p.a.

Brussels Zaventem:

  • 4 new S17 routes to Hamburg (2 daily), Madrid (2 daily), Malta (1 daily) & Milan M (2 daily)
  • More flights to Porto (9 weekly)
  • 17 routes
  • 2m customers p.a.
  • 2,400* “on-site” jobs p.a.

Ryanair will continue to connect Brussels with major business centres on high frequency, low fare services including Berlin (3 daily), Dublin (2 daily) and Milan (2 daily), with better timings and lower fares, making Ryanair the ideal choice for Belgian business and leisure customers.

Customers can look forward to even lower fares for summer 2017, as our recent guidance confirmed, we expect average fares to fall by between 10% to 12% in the 6 months to March 2017.
