The Belgian Football League had organised a contest among the fans of the National Team (the “Red Devils”) and the 500 winners were invited to attend a special presentation of the aeroplane that Brussels Airlines, a partner of the League, had decorated in the colours of the Red Devils, both outside and inside. Six of the fans even had their own photographs on the luggage bins of the plane, between the football players. They were present at the event to enjoy their moment of glory.

The aircraft is an Airbus A320, registered OO-SNA. Its painting in an Ostrava (Czech Republic) workshop had been completed just after the terror attacks at Brussels Airport, and thus its first presentation in a very sober way was reserved for the staff of Brussels Airlines. The plane has re-entered commercial service soon thereafter. This was the first public presentation, for the best supporters of the national football team.
