Flight SN3159 from Brussels to Naples returned to base after a bird strike. After inspection of the Airbus A319 registered OO-SSO, the aircraft continued its journey to Naples with a 2-hour delay.
Flight SN357 from Brussels to Kinshasa was above the Mediterranean Sea when the Airbus A330 registered OO-SFV made a U-turn. It flew a holding pattern above Belgium before safely landing at Brussels Airport, with fire trucks attending the landing. A spokesman confirmed that due to an hydraulic problem the aircraft was forced to return to Belgium. The flight was eventually cancelled.
