The two airlines have a business relationship stretching back almost a quarter of a century.

Loganair operated in British Airways colours for 14 years between 1994 and 2008 under a franchise partnership. More recently it operated in Flybe colours, but this contract has been withdrawn, after which Loganair adopted a new tartan livery, pictured above, to proudly show its origin.

The business relationship with British Airways was never severed and has continued since the conclusion of the franchise with a code share on some of Loganair’s network of services within the Scottish highlands and islands.

Kay Ryan, Loganair’s commercial director said:

Loganair and British Airways have a longstanding and successful relationship in serving the communities of the Scottish highlands and islands and we are working closely with our colleagues at British Airways to strengthen those links to the benefit of both airlines and, more importantly, to our customers.
