Last Friday passengers on a Jet2 flight (G-JZHT) between Malaga and Birmingham got a special inflight treat (or treath as you wish). A French Air Force fighter jet came flying next to flight LS 1204, leaving passengers in a mixture of “excitement at seeing the fighter so close up and terror as to if we were about to get shot down.“
Passengers told the cabin crew about the special visitor, but reassured them nothing was wrong. The British low-cost airline has awaiting confirmation from French aviation authorities why exactly the fighter jet approached the aircraft for 15 minutes.
