Jet Airways, which kicks off at Amsterdam Schiphol on Sunday, March 27th, has cancelled all the festivities surrounding the arrival of the first flight. The Indian airline considers it inappropriate to celebrate a party in the wake of the Brussels attacks.

The airline moved its entire flight schedule from Brussels to Amsterdam Schiphol, as planned, starting from the summer season. That decision is unrelated to the attacks in the Belgian capital. By the unexpected abrupt terror, there comes a bitter end to the presence of Jet Airways in Brussels. In the attacks Jet Airways staff were also injured.

As of March 27 Jet Airways, in close cooperation with KLM and Delta Air Lines, will fly daily from Schiphol to Delhi, Mumbai and Toronto.

Today three Airbus A330s from Jet Airways were ferried to Amsterdam airport in order to transport passengers stranded by the attacks on Brussels to their final destination, with the following schedules (24 March):

9W1227 AMS1400 – 0300+1BOM 333
9W1229 AMS1600 – 0425+1DEL 333
9W1230 AMS1800 – 2135YYZ 333
