Dublin Airport welcomes the announcement by Luxair that it is to continue its direct services to Luxembourg from Dublin for the winter season.

Luxair has seen continued growth in its business and leisure markets since it resumed the service in 2014. There will be a daily flight Monday to Friday in addition to a Sunday evening service.

We are delighted to see Luxair extending to six flights weekly for the Winter Season” said Vincent Harrison, Dublin Airport’s Managing Director. “This is testament to the success of the route, which is popular for both business and leisure passengers.”

Prices for the six flights per week will begin from €149 return including 20K checked luggage allowance, complimentary food, drinks and newspapers on board.  Luxair Business Class passengers will also enjoy Fast Lane Service through Dublin Airport and Executive Lounges at both ends of the route.

Luxembourg currently hosts the EU Presidency and 46% of the Duchy’s population are foreign nationals. It is also the gateway to a region of Europe famed for its beauty.

From Luxembourg city itself, its architecture, its Old Town and its Fortress, to the many treasures of its borders such as the Moselle wine region and the hills of the Ardennes, and of course the Mullerthal region – known as Luxembourg’s Little Switzerland, characterised by its beautiful forests, rock formations and brooks, Luxembourg is definitely one to visit this winter and tick off your wish list,” said Paul Weir, Luxair’s Sales Manager in Ireland.

Headquartered at Luxembourg’s Findel airport, Luxair is the flag carrier of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Flights can be booked with Luxair Ireland on 01 804 5100, through any travel agent in the Republic of Ireland, or online HERE
