The Arbitration Court of the Rostov Region declared the Donavia airline bankrupt, which is a subsidiary of Aeroflot.
– Recognize the debtor bankrupt and open a bankruptcy proceedings, – noted in the court’s decision.
The procedure for bankruptcy was initiated by Aeroflot itself in January 2017.
Last year, Moscow’s arbitration for Aeroflot recovered more than 884 million rubles from Donavia under a loan agreement.
In return for Donavia and Orenburg Airlines, Aeroflot created a new regional carrier, the Rossiya airline.
