A Dutch Corendon Airlines Boeing 737 registered PH-CDE from Amsterdam Schiphol to Kos Island (KGS) was forced to declare an emergency shortly after take-off at 8:00 this morning. The pilots noticed a main wheel well fire indication and returned to Schiphol airport, where it safely landed 22 minutes later.
Rescue services inspected the aircraft on the runway, shortly after the Boeing 737 was allowed to vacate the runway.
